About The Hostel Elf

Hostel Elf is one of Prague’s longest running hostels. This delightful Prague hostel was first established in 2000, but it has managed to retain it’s energetic and stylish vibe. The hostel offers something fantastic shared areas including a cool outdoor patio and common room.

Hostel Elf has a selection of single, double and triple rooms. All of the rooms come with fresh linen and towels, showers and hairdryers are made available. Hostel Elf also has double and triple rooms with their own private ensuite. For guests looking for shared accommodation there are dorms available with bunk beds. Each dorm comes with separate lockers and lock. The dorm bunks have their own lights and electrical outlets. Access to the dorms are controlled through separate access pass cards. This means that you only have access to the dorm that you are staying in. Dorms can be booked as private rooms depending on the size of your party. During the low season Hostel Elf offers your fifth night that you stay free.

Hostel Elf is located about a five minute walk from the central Florenc bus station. To reach the hostel you need to exit through the bus hub exit, not the main entrance. Leaving the station you turn right, continue under a bridge, then turn left at the lights. The Hostel Elf is on the same side as the bus stop. Alternatively you can take the buses 133, 175 or 207 from the Florenc bus station. Slightly further away is the Hlavni Nadrazi train station. This is about a ten minute walk from the hostel. Alternatively you can take the metro to Florenc bus station, then take a bus to the hostel.

Hostel Elf provides an all you can eat breakfast served up in buffet style. There is also free coffee and tea made available throughout the day. All of the rooms have WIFI and internet access is free. One nice feature are the original artworks that are scattered throughout the hostel. Every Monday the kitchen offers up free baked sausages, a popular choice with previous guests. There is also a seasonal BBQ three times a week, which is perfect for socializing and meeting new people.

Hostel Elf sells Czech beer at reception so if you are looking to relax and socialise then this hostel is a very good option. With over fifteen years of experiencing providing hostel accommodation in Prague, the Hostel Elf team are friendly and knowledgeable.
